Duma Says – Educational e-Braille Book For The Visually Impaired

Duma Says, an educational book by author Nkosinathi (Nathi) Ngubane has recently been published.

The author is a graphic designer, illustrator, and culturalist from Durban, South Africa. This book is geared towards children from underprivileged backgrounds. Since its publication, it has attracted the attention of the South African Government and has since been endorsed.

Pioneer Printers has taken it upon itself to transcribe the book in both Braille and Audio format to make it accessible to the visually impaired and print-handicapped community with the goal to raise awareness during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The following devices are compatible to read brf files: Victor Reader Stratus, Stream and Trek devices. BRF Files can also be accessed via Duxbury software.
